Temporary Work PermitsThe laws of the Bahamas are very clear regarding expatriates participating in gainful employment in the Bahamas - it is prohibited. However, from time to time and as the need arises flight departments, and airline operators require maintenance crews to carry out work on aircraft or specialized equipment. In such cases a temporary work permit can be obtained. Owners, Operators or Technical Crews wishing to enter the Bahamas for these purposes should contact EARCO Trip Support Desk at the earliest opportunity to ensure that the proper authorities are advised and permissions granted.
